What are some good Wall Ball locations? And can I do it at home?

There are several local spots where you can practice Wall Ball. Here is a Port Moody Wall Ball Map of some of the best locations we found.

You can also get your own re-bounder for around $220 from Lacrosse Experts in Coquitlam and do this in your own garage/street out of the rain.

How can I learn about Wall ball technique?

Here are some videos to watch to help hone Wall Ball technique:

For Best Results:

  • Find a flat brick or concrete wall at least 10 feet high.
  • Always wear gloves and your helmet when you are performing your routine – you play with gloves and a cage, so practice with them!
  • Always have a target – find a mark on the wall or put up a piece of tape (make a small tape square if you can)
  • Stand 5-7 meters away from the wall
  • Do this at least 2 – 3 times per week and develop a routine!
  • Spend at least 15 mins / ideally 30 mins. If you finish all drills in less than 15 minutes, repeat drills starting with the drill that challenged you the most
  • Have fun!

Suggested Lacrosse Wall Ball Drills:

  • Quick stick – 50 reps (no cradle) off the wall, catch and throw (no bounce)
  • Catch then one quick cradle – (no bounce)
  • Throw to target – let bounce and catch (50 reps)
  • Bounce before the wall so ball goes up – catch before allowing it to bounce back (50 reps)
  • Develop your own drills (be creative not repetitive!)
